I would say that it is pretty ill advised to introduce your child into the Apple lifestyle. He stands the chance of living a life emphasizing form over function, deferring to minimum-wage "geniuses" to solve even the smallest of problems, and smugly brushing off anyone who expresses hesitation with his technological choices with a firm "it just works!"
