Jack shows off his new trick for his Nana ~ he can turn a perfectly good cookie (teething biscuit) into a mushy mess in no time flat.
Thank you to Kathleen for coming up to B'ham to hang out with the little bug & taking us all out to lunch.

Hi Nana and Nana,
I just clicked on a Root Bros link to Root Nest to see the article about the boy and "Nana" (while half-consciously trying to figure out where Kay was these days).
Oh yea! Nana!
Congrats again Kathleen on reaching that esteemed and omniscious ranking. In martial arts they call it Shihan (master); it is above any ranking of Sensei (teacher). You cant be promoted above Shihan, and I assume that the same is true of "Nana". The world needs all you nanas, what would we do without you?
I guess we now can call Kay, Granana, or Nanana, or (like shihan) once nana, always nana and there is nothing more "grand" to strive to?
Love to you both! (oh yea, and to the younger roots too)
Ben
PS I'm back from Costa Rica. Fun was had, lessons learned, challenges confronted, but not much work done...had to come back.
